Dave Steele 'Partners Advancing Values in Education' April 1st 2016

Our monthly First Friday Mass and Meeting is April 1st.

The month’s speaker is Dave Steele of PAVE (Partners Advancing Values in Education). Dave is the Director of School Partnerships for PAVE. Founded in 1992, PAVE’s mission is to make excellent educational opportunities possible for low income families in Milwaukee. They fulfill this mission through developing the organizational capacity of schools serving low income students in the City of Milwaukee. PAVE recruits and trains board members to serve on the boards of its Partner Schools, provides trainings and expertise for board development and organizational development of schools, and assists schools in bricks-and-mortar expansion projects.

Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 A.M. in the Chapel of St. Edmund Campion, located on the 4th floor of Eckstein Hall (Marquette University Law School). Mass will be followed by our meeting and discussion from 8:00-9:00 A.M., which includes a continental breakfast (suggested donation $4.00). Parking is available in the Eckstein Hall underground parking structure. (Enter the lot, pull a ticket, and find an open parking space. Once parked, take the elevator to main floor, which opens to the foyer, and go to the welcome desk to get your parking ticket validated.)
