Red Mass, and Reception with featured speaker author Paul Vallely, October 5th 2016

This year's Red Mass will take place Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 812 North Jackson Street, Milwaukee. The procession of judges will begin at 5:15 p.m. Mass will celebrated by the Most Reverend Jerome E. Listecki, Archbishop of Milwaukee, and concelebrated by the Very Reverend Paul Hartmann and Reverend Thomas DeVries.

Following Mass we will have a dinner and program at the Milwaukee Athletic Club. Our keynote speaker will be Paul Vallely, internationally recognized British writer and commentator. He us the author of Pope Francis – Untying the Knots (2103) and Pope Francis - The Struggle for the Soul of Catholicism (2015). He is Visiting Professor in Public Ethics at the University of Chester and a Senior Fellow at the Global Development Institute at the University of Manchester. He writes regularly in The New York Times, the Independent on Sunday, and the Guardian.

This year’s Faithful Servant Award will be presented to Dr. Mary Meehan, President Emerita of Alverno College.
