Fr. Paul Hartmann 'Recent Changes to the Annulment Process' November 4th 2016

Our monthly First Friday Mass and Meeting is November 4th.

This month’s speaker is the Very Reverend Paul Hartmann. He will address the annulment process in the Catholic Church and the recent changes to the process that have been instituted by Pope Francis.

Father Hartmann is the President of Catholic Memorial High School and the Judicial Vicar of the Metropolitan Tribunal, Archdiocese of Milwaukee. He holds a Pontifical Licentiate in Canon Law from the Catholic University of America, and received his Masters of Divinity degree from St. Francis Seminary in Milwaukee. Since his ordination Fr. Hartmann has served in numerous pastoral roles in many parishes; taught Canon Law at both St. Francis Seminary and Sacred Heart School of Theology; as well as serving as the Archbishop’s designated Chaplain to groups such as the Catholic Committee on Scouting, the Knights of Columbus, the Knights of Malta, and the St. Thomas More Lawyers Society.

Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 A.M. in the Chapel of St. Edmund Campion, located on the 4th floor of Eckstein Hall (Marquette University Law School). Mass will be followed by our meeting and discussion from 8:00-9:00 A.M., which includes a continental breakfast (suggested donation $4.00). Parking is available in the Eckstein Hall underground parking structure. (Enter the lot, pull a ticket, and find an open parking space. Once parked, take the elevator to main floor, which opens to the foyer, and go to the welcome desk to get your parking ticket validated.)
