Dave Van Hecke '"Camino de Santiago" May 5th 2017

Our monthly First Friday Mass and Meeting is May 5, 2017.

This month's speaker is Dave Van Hecke. Dave and his wife Cecile are parents of four children and are members of St. Anthony of Padua parish in Milwaukee. Dave is a native Wisconsinite, and after obtaining a liberal arts degree from Magdalen College in New Hampshire, has worked in IT in the financial sector for 23 years. His talk, however, will not be about creating a better spreadsheet for your charitable donations. Instead, he and Cecile recently made the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain, and Dave will talk about the spiritual beauty, demands and benefits of such a pilgrimage. Dave promises that this will be an illustrated talk. Please come - and bring a friend!

Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 A.M. in the Chapel of St. Edmund Campion, located on the 4th floor of Eckstein Hall (Marquette University Law School). Mass will be followed by our meeting and discussion from 8:00-9:00 A.M., which includes a continental breakfast (suggested donation $4.00). Parking is available in the Eckstein Hall underground parking structure. (Enter the lot, pull a ticket, and find an open parking space. Once parked, take the elevator to main floor, which opens to the foyer, and go to the welcome desk to get your parking ticket validated.)
