Our monthly First Friday Mass and Meeting is April 6th.
As usual, Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 a.m. in the Chapel of St. Edmund Campion, located on the 4th floor of Eckstein Hall. Our celebrant will be our co-chaplain, Fr. Tom DeVries. We are, as always, grateful to Marquette University Law School for providing us with this prayerful and welcoming venue.
After the Mass we will have a gathering with light breakfast and a speaker. Our April speaker is Mr. William J. Hudson, Director of Admissions for St. Francis de Sales Seminary and Associate Director of Vocations and Formation for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Mr. Hudson grew up in Kansas, has an undergraduate degree in Theology and Philosophy from Benedictine College in Kansas, and received a Masters in Theological Studies from Boston College. While at Benedictine College, he met his wife Jenna. They have been married for two and half years, live in Slinger, and have two girls: Maria (22 months) and Margaret Mary (3 months). Mr. Hudson will tell us a little about what he does for the Seminary and the Archdiocese, and give us some updates about the seminary, the vocations office, and the state of vocations in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
Limited complimentary visitor parking is available in the Eckstein Hall underground parking structure, 11th Street level, between Wisconsin Avenue and Clybourn. There is a new parking system that will require two tickets to exit. Enter the lot, pull a ticket, and find an open parking space. Once parked, follow signs to the elevator. Take the elevator to the main floor, which opens to the foyer, and go to the Welcome Desk to get your "chaser" ticket so that you will not have to pay for parking when exiting. In other words, for free parking, when you exit you will need both the ticket you pulled when you entered and the "chaser" ticket the Welcome Desk gave you. You will be given instructions.
