As July 4th approaches, we sincerely hope that it is a time of celebration and rest with family and friends.
We would also like to extend an invitation to you all to celebrate our July First Friday mass in the lower church of Gesu on July 7, 2023 at 7:45 am. Our mass celebrant will be Fr. Bob Cook, Coventual Franciscan, Pastor of St. Josaphat's Basilica, and retired lawyer. We are excited that Fr. Bob can join us this month again, in Fr. Brad's absence.
Following mass, we are blessed to welcome this month's guest speaker, Sr. Maria Gracia of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary, whose topic this month is: "Prayer: A Covenant Relationship." We can expect to learn about her order's special consecration to the Blessed Mother which they refer to as their "Covenant of Love." We thank Sr. Maria Gracia for joining us. All are welcome!
You may have noticed that our last few speakers also wove the theme of prayer into their presentations. This has been intentional on the part of the STMLS board. So, let's continue to lift up one another to God in prayer and pray for those we serve in the practice of law.
