Zabrina Decker, "The Archdiocesan Tribunal", September 1st 2023

This coming September 1, 2023, we will have our First Friday Mass back in the Marquette University Law School 4th floor chapel at 7:30 AM. Our celebrant will be STMLS Chaplain Fr. Brad Krawczyk of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Seminary.

Following liturgy, we welcome STMLS member and our guest speaker, Archdiocesan Tribunal Chancellor and Canon Lawyer Zabrina Decker, J.C.D.

For parking, please enter the parking lot off of 11th Street just south of Wisconsin Avenue, and bring your parking stub to the Law School front desk for validation.

TWO UPCOMING STMLS EVENTS:

1. STMLS Law School Student Social. Wednesday, September 13, 2023, 5 pm-7:30 pm, Wisconsin Club.

2. STMLS Annual Red Mass. Celebrant: Archbishop Jerome Listecki on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 5:15 pm at St. John's Cathedral.

Dinner will follow at the Wisconsin Club. Keynote will be by Steven M. Biskupic. Introduction will by the Hon. Michael Brennan of the US Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. Mr. Biskupic will present his research findings in a memorable talk, entitled: "Catholicism, Whiskey, & the Early Wisconsin Courts". Faithful Servant award will be presented to Kevin O'Brien, CEO of Best Version Media and a Men of Christ founder. Introduction will be by retired sportscaster Tom Pipines.

Social with Marquette Student Chapter February 8th

Please also consider attending the Social Event with Marquette Law Students that we have scheduled at the Wisconsin Club beginning at 5:30 PM Wednesday February 8, 2023. The event will feature beverages and hors d’oeuvres and lively conversation with the members of the Student Chapter of the St. Thomas More Lawyers Society. The primary goal is networking and fun interaction between Catholic law students and lawyers. The appetizers are complementary. We will have a cash bar for Society members but are providing two drink tickets to all students members that attend.

Law Student - Lawyer Reception February 28th 2019

The St. Thomas More Lawyers Society is hosting its annual Student – Lawyer Reception this coming Thursday, February 28, 2019, from 5:30–7:30 PM. Members of the Marquette Law School student chapter will be joining us at Alexander’s, located in the Wisconsin Club at 900 East Wisconsin Avenue. Valet parking is available. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres will be provided. Our students really appreciate the chance to get to know us (and network with actual working lawyers), so please make an effort to stop by even just to say hello and have a quick after-work drink.
